Lady Gaga – Bad Romance

October 30, 2009

We find it hard to comprehend the fact that Bad Romance, the first single from The Fame: Monster, the bonus album that comes with the re-release of the original, is five minutes long because it just flies. This song isn’t a huge leap from songs like Pokerface and Paparazzi, both amazing songs, and our life has managed to revolve around Gaga. We can’t concentrate on anything for long without wanting to go back to listen to Gaga. The intro starts church-like, like a wedding march. Then it stops and it’s just “Ra Ra ah ah ah/ Rahma Rahmama/ Ga Ga ooh la la” and the soldier-like beats that were made for the catwalk kick in. The noise after “I want your love” is amazing like the noise in The Blackout Crew’s Put A Donk On It after the word “Techno”. It’s all brilliant and we can’t wait for this album. Alejandro, a leaked track from the album, is also very good, very Italo and passionate. As clichéd as the phrase has now become there’s no doubt we’re Gaga for Gaga.

Hear it here.
