Delphic – Doubt

Longlisted on the BBC Sound of 2010 list, one of many great things about Delphic has been that they have their songs on the internet to show why they are so hyped. Doubt sounds like Coldplay during their X&Y era sung in a Bloc Party shouty-singing style but this is not as bad as that description may sound to a lot of you. The song is very good. They’re indie and electronic in a way that isn’t try-hard, which is something many groups that mix genres for some reason can’t manage. Their album ‘Acolyte’ is released on Monday too which will hopefully help them cash in on any hype that will come with whichever position they end up on that list.
