Sugababes – Wear My Kiss
It’s noisy, stompy and crackly and that’s what saves it because there are people out there who will buy any noisy, electro pop and don’t care who sing it, and to be fair we would be more likely to listen to this than a lot of the dull ballads they have in ‘their’ back catalogue. It sounds a bit like Goodbye by Kristinia DeBarge but not as good. It’s sad when you see Sugababes one of the most exciting, creative and talented group of the last decade, even with their member swapping antics, releasing sub-Kristinia DeBarge singles. The song is not the worst thing ever, it’s produced by Fernando Garibay who produced Gaga’s Dance in the Dark, but it’s really hard for us to listen to it without thinking it sounds wrong, and we liked Get Sexy and About A Girl. We guess it’s a third single but at this point they should be releasing first single material if they want the album to do well.
