Download it: Marina and the Diamonds, Pin Me Down, Chew Lips
These are all quite good songs that we’ve listened to a few times this week. They are all available as free downloads. Great.
It feels like every blog in the world has blogged about this version of Hollywood and how the wonderful and infamous Gonzales, you know Gonzales, he’s simply wonderful, kooky and crazy, you know Gonza, GtotheONZALES? EVERYONE ON EVERY BLOG KNOWS WHO GONZALES IS, PURLEASE don’t tell me that YOU DON’T. Anyway, by now it’s a free download so if you liked it why not download it because it’s free.

Pin Me Up, Pin Me Down Hours of fun guaranoh no that wasn’t quite it. Made up of a guy from Bloc Party, the one that isn’t the main one but the one that some people apparently fancy, and a girl who sings nicely and used to be in some band or other as they all inevitably are. The song is quite good. Why not download it? Because you don’t like the sound of a side project of a member of Bloc Party? Fair enough.

We confused them with another similar group that comes from Manchester and originally made a very funny Manchester-related joke. Chew Lips are from London. They are alright and this song which is also alright is this week’s iTunes Download of the Week which probably means that those of you who aren’t British can’t download it you bunch of losers.
