Alesha Dixon – Drummer Boy

We like Drummer Boy even if it does just sound like a marching band falling over each other with Alesha shouting all over it. Essentially it’s a High School Musical song, which is a good thing, with roll eyeably dull “give it to me” “beat of the drum” lines, which isn’t good, but the “Waaa? Hey! Ha!” in the chorus makes it fiercer and the video will surely be brilliant.

I’m just so happy that Alesha isn’t moving further into Gary Barlow boring ballad territory to please the Strictly Come Dancing audience that it doesn’t matter that this song isn’t exactly ‘the best’.
And any song with a good ‘ EEEEHHEHEH WHOOOAAAOHOH OOAOHOH’ bit is definitely worth our time.
